Don't Forget Your Banners: Mesh vs. Solid for Mobile Stages

SL100 with sponsor banners on both towers

Banners are more than decoration. They put the event's name, sponsors, and message in front of every photo and every fan, and they make the stage look finished and professional.

Why banners matter

First, they are branding. Sponsors often fund the event, and placement on the stage gives them the visibility that brings them back next year. Second, a well-designed banner turns the stage into a clear focal point that matches the event's look.

What we offer

  • Printing and delivery. Banners ride in with the stage or ship to you, ready to install.
  • Design help. For an added fee, we can design banners that meet your sponsors' expectations.
  • The right fit. Sized for the Stageline SL100, SL260, and SL320.

Why mesh

We recommend banners that are about 30% solid material and 70% blow-through mesh.

Wind and rigging safety

Mesh lets air pass through and cuts the sail effect that strains rigging and structure. On a mobile stage, that matters for performers and equipment.

Sound

Front-of-house speakers often sit behind the banner. Solid vinyl blocks and muddies the sound. Mesh lets it through.

Weight and durability

Mesh is lighter and holds up to weather while keeping its look for the whole run.

How we hang them

We are particular about it. Banners go up without wrinkles, with just enough movement in the wind, and never at the expense of the structure.
