Future Forward
Built in the mountains. Built to scale.
Stagebot started as one stage and one engineer's gear habit. Today it is a certified, procurement-ready production company with a software layer on the way. Here is where it is going.
- Steel Pulse
- Beats Antique
- Leftover Salmon
- Pepper
- Oteil & Friends
- Braden Rumfelt
The thesis
Why this business, why now
Outdoor events need fast stages
Towns, campuses, and festivals want a real stage without a day of scaffold labor. A hydraulic SL100 is up in about an hour with one operator and two helpers.
Public buyers want certified vendors
Stagebot is an SBA-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, registered in SAM.gov, with municipal and university work already on the books.
Quoting is ready to be software
Most staging companies still quote by phone tag. Show Builder turns that into a product: design, estimate, request, all online.
Roadmap
What we're building
- NowShow Builder
Clients design their own SL100 show online, see it in 3D, and send a request. Every plan becomes a qualified lead and a data point on what the market wants.
- NextA second stage and certified crews
Three driver-operators today. A training program means every stage we add arrives with its own certified crew.
- NextThe Garden
Our 5.5-acre Chimney Rock home base, rebuilt after Hurricane Helene: gear service, crew training, a small acoustic venue, and parking for a village that needs it. Candler could be its first expansion.
- ResearchThe Sphere
An underground acoustic chamber for listening research, built from what we have learned tuning outdoor sound. Findings are published in Lab Notes.
Chimney Rock
The Garden
Hurricane Helene hit Chimney Rock hard in 2024. We rebuilt here on purpose. The Garden is what we call the whole idea growing on this land: today it covers the full 5.5-acre Chimney Rock property, where the gear gets serviced and the crews get trained, and where we're planning a small stage for acoustic acts, learning trails, and parking that helps the village welcome visitors again.
The Garden is built to grow. A potential second site in Candler, near Asheville, would be its first expansion.
The Garden property projects are planned as a separate venture from Stagebot Live LLC.
Research
The Sphere
Years of tuning sound outdoors raised questions a field can't answer. The Sphere is our answer: a 14-foot underground listening chamber with an above-ground control room, designed for controlled listening research.
Who we want to meet
Partners for the next stage
- Strategic investors who understand live events, rentals, or event technology
- Gear and technology brands who want field testing and real-world feedback
- Prime contractors and production companies looking for a certified staging partner
- Municipal and community partners in Western North Carolina
